Every day God testifies to me that He and all his angels are conspiring in my behave.
I planned a presentation for my business today at a local restaurant. There is an awesome dining room with a big screen, all the electronics and leather sofas. My goal is to have one a month there during the lunch hour and I was so excited to get these meetings going.
I invited over 15 people since the time I set up the meeting and made all my reminder calls yesterday and his morning, mostly voice mails however I had a few commitments. I arrived early, set-up my displays and ordered lunch. I got the DVD in the player, the DVD player set-up to play and then I relaxed and enjoyed my salad.
Two of my team members showed up and even though they had invited many people it sounded like none of them were able to attend. When it came to start I had one guest. She was very excited already and really wants to join me in business so I am very grateful she came.
There was a group of ladies in the other half of the room having a birthday party so there was a lot of chatter. When it came time to start I did my regular introduction and preceded to start the video. Nothing happened. When it did happen, it was not where we wanted to start. I tried a different DVD, again nothing happened. I made my way into the kitchen and the owner was eventually able to help me.
We started the video 30 minutes late. A second guest and current customer arrived about this time to hear more about the advances in the research. She stayed for the video and ended up visiting most of the time with one of my team members about the science. She is now taking all that new information to a friend that may become one of my customers. I am so grateful she got what she came for even if it wasn't from me. My other guest had to leave as soon as the video was over and we will connect on what she wants to do.
There were two other women eating lunch in the same room that I and one of my team members shared information with. They have her phone number and she will stay in touch with them.
The ladies at the birthday party were members of my church so I gave some of them some information before we all left and answered some questions. I also invited them to the presentation at my house next week and will give them a reminder call for sure.
I am so grateful for the no shows. It definitely was not what I had visualized however I would've been so stressed and discouraged with a "full house" and all the disorder. Their absence made me more determined to talk to more people today. As I ran my errands I handed out five business cards and directions for my website.
I am at peace knowing that God delivered to me all the people that were/are ready to hear the message of health that I have to share. I am excited to check back with all the "unexpected" contacts and feel that as things move forward I will be a vessel to help them have greater health and well-being in their journey.

My husband and I have been together since middle school, that's a long time. Tonight when I said I don't lie, he commented that I've lied to him before. Considering we were kids when we got together that probably happened at some time. I was a very different person then.
When I asked him if we are living in the past or in the present, he replied, "I live for tomorrow because of yesterday." Very nice. I was so impressed.
I love it when he says something profound. I realize that we truly are soul mates and that he really does listen to the things I share with him. I know with him I can have peace in the journey because he is helping me create a part of my journey.

Well I am being prompted to read Napolean Hill's book , "Think and Grow Rich". I read it a few years ago as a part of a Bob Proctor program. It included a series of cd's and conference calls every week with a small group of readers. While cleaning out a corner in my bedroom, I came across the book and cd's. I felt impressed to keep it out however I felt I didn't have the time right now to read it and listen to the cd's again, so away it went.
As I was speaking with a friend today about energy, spirit, our religious beliefs and how they're all connected he mentioned this book and asked me if I'd read it. I had to interrupt him and tell him how interesting that he should mention that very book and my recent experience with it. At that point I knew immediately why I felt impressed to ask him a question rather than going to class even tough I really wanted to go to class.
So God, what do you have in store for me?
I know I felt I needed to do the whole program again and that's why I put the items away. Thank you for showing me otherwise. I ask you to be with me as I read this book again, that the Holy Ghost will help me understand what you want me to and that I will allow myself to be open to the understanding that is in store for me. I am excited that you are so aware of my needs and bring me what I need to have greater peace in my journey.

Good old Zig!
I was cleaning out a corner this morning and ran across an email I printed in 2008. Yeah, okay so I can be a bit of a pack rat. Hey I cleaned out a corner though!
Anyway, its titled "A Lesson in Happiness" and includes the following quotes by Zig Zigler, someone I had never heard of until a few years ago. Boy had I been missing out!
"I'm so optimistic I'd go after Moby Dick in a row boat and take the tartar sauce with me."
"Most of us would be upset if we were accused of being "silly", but the word "silly" comes from the Old English word "selig", and it's literal definition is "to be blessed, happy, healthy and prosperous."
"The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what you want most for what you want now."
"Be helpful. When you see a person without a smile, give him yours."
So Zig, I'm not quite there with the Moby Dick analogy, maybe it has something to do with a fear of water.
I'm good with being called "silly", sounds like an awesome state of being. I will intend to attract as many "silly" people into my life as I can.
Instant gratification; definitely a stumbling block I am attempting to remedy.
And the smile. Well I've got that one down so well that when I recently told my daughter that I would prefer to not have such deep creases on the sides of my mouth her response was, "Stop smiling so much." Nah, that's not gonna happen anytime soon. It's just my nature to give everyone a smile and on those days when I do feel "out of sorts" with myself, I'm so grateful for the reserve I've built up and that The Universe allows me to be on the receiving end and brings peace back in my journey.

Serving brings the greatest joy.
I have a home business that I've worked off and on for over 9 years. About a year ago I chose to dedicate myself to not only being successful, making it to the top and supporting my family with the income, I also hope to help as many people as I can with the message I have to share.
I have a goal to achieve every month and I am so confident that I will reach that goal that I set up my "team" for success sometimes before myself. It's so funny to me that I am just as excited to see them succeed as I am to achieve my goal and earn a bonus. I used to stress if I didn't achieve a goal, I'd lose a customer or my commissions didn't increase according to my efforts. Now it just is. I understand what a gentleman in my business means when he says, "This is a course in personal development cleverly disguised as a business."
In church we talk about the importance of following the example of our Savior and being in the service of our fellow man; that when we do our concerns will not seem so big and will be taken care of. How grateful I am for this understanding and that I am applying it to my career path. Sometimes we think of service to others as those who are needy or less fortunate than us. Not so. I believe when we share all our gifts and talents in all areas of our lives we are in the service of our fellow man, the Universe will deliver to us all that we need and our ability to give will increase. This is truth that I can feel to the core of my being and truth always brings peace in my journey.

Supported and loved all along.
If I hope to create my life the way I want it to be then its better to focus on what I feel is the better stuff and let the other go by the way side. My journal entry for the day consisted of all the things I am grateful for today and yesterday.
Two things stood out the most.
The first one was my favorite from yesterday. My husband swept the shop floor, cleaned the lint caked ceiling fan and organized a few things in our print and embroidery shop while working on an embroidery job. I have been visualizing him doing such things rather than watching tv while the embroidery machine does its job. How cool to see that thought manifest itself.
The second was my favorite event of today. This too was something my husband did. He called me and asked me if I was getting any Juice Plus+ stuff done. He knows how important it is to me and how much I want to bless people's lives. I know he sees how happy it makes me and I am so grateful for the support he gives me in every adventure I've chosen to pursue even if he doesn't completely understand it all the time.
I have done a lot of complaining the last few years about where I am in life, my career and my family and I am so grateful to have someone that still loves and adores me despite all my crap; trust me I have a lot of it and I have made it very difficult to have a peaceful journey.
Thanks God for making me more conscious of the love and support that is and always has been all around me.

Just say no.
It has been said that when you help enough people get what they want you will have everything you want and need. By nature I find it quite easy to achieve success for myself. I am also pretty good at helping others do the same. I learned very well in 2011 that no matter what I did with my talents and gifts I could not help someone be successful without them wanting to make the changes necessary to get what they want. The success would manifest and yet the effort to achieve it and hold it as their own just wasn't there. I knew that my time and talents were being wasted and I had to walk away. So I ask myself, "Why did I spend the last 6 days procrastinating a call to this same person to say no to a proposal I was given when I knew that I would say no as soon as it was given?
I will spend some time pondering why I find it difficult to say no to the people I know I cannot spend time with and give my energy to. Why do I fear what they may think or possibly say about me? Good question.
I'm grateful for the peace I felt when I made the call and can now move forward onto more challenging events like the very important and yet greatly dreaded t-shirt quotes waiting to be made.

Your body never lies.
Have you ever known when something was good and right for you because you could just feel it, literally all through your being? Or what about the opposite? Everything feels icky and hard and it takes so much effort to do and think about anything; much like that candy bar commercial when they dive into the pool of caramel.
I had an experience recently where I felt the latter, in fact it was so heavy and ugly; my energies were so low, I actually attracted several other incidents that kept me there for a few days. I feel I am on my up again and I am excited to get back in the groove.
There's a saying that I learned from a good friend: "The mind will tell you lots of stories however the body will neve lie."
I hope to perfect this gift more so I can find greater peace in my journey and work through "the stuff" quicker and as I do I can share it with others.

The Universe will always conspire in your favor
Today while at the grocery I noticed someone in the ice cream isle that looked very familiar. I kept looking her way trying to figure it out and then it hit me, she and her husband were at my house recently helping me with my Kirby and shared an air purifier with me. I was going to say hello as I walked back to my cart and closer to her as she turned her cart around the corner. No big deal, I had already been in the store for an hour or so and had stopped to visit with a few other people.
Shortly after I arrived home she and her husband pulled up the driveway. Groceries were still on the counter so we visited while I put the cold items away. I was especially concerned about the sherbet I bought for Family Home Evening. I couldn't find it so I figured my husband took care of it however he said there wasn't any in the trunk when he emptied it. I planned to check my receipt when I was done.
We talked about the air purifier and a little about the water distillers they sell. I am very interested in that right now too since I need to replace the cylinders on my current water filter. I told myself the next time I see my friend, which would be at church tomorrow, I would ask her how she likes hers. I figured the money I would spend on new cylinders could be applied the new unit.
While visiting I had 3 text messages. I heard my daughter's name for all 3 of them so I thought I'd better check it the 3rd time. She let me know that her friend from Safeway, the one the bagged my groceries, texted her that I left some food behind. Funny thing is that my daughter is in Idaho at school and the other texts were not from her. Needless to say me and my guests got a good laugh out of it so we ended the conversation and I headed back to the store and who should walk in right behind me but my friend with whom I declared I would talk with at church! "I love it when a plan comes together", especially when the Universe takes over. It turns out even better then I expect.
If you don't think The Universe and God are aware of all your thoughts and desires, pay attention to how things work out in your favor and if it seems that you are only receiving what you really don't want than it's time to re-evaluate your thoughts because He will honor them ever time.
May you find peace in your journey.

Will the download finally work?
Okay I am so not a computer techie nor do I have a desire to be. I thought I would be smart and upgrade my Trend Micro version for this year. I've spent several hours now trying to load it to my computer. It is kicking my butt!!!! Well I will take accountability and admit I am letting it kick my butt! It's still doesn't make it any funner and PMS doesn't help either. I don't know about other women but I tend to cry and that just makes me feel even dumber.
I am currently chatting with Ralph who is very helpful and pleasant. He was assisting me earlier and I hit reboot and of course lost him. I contribute this to talking with my mother on the phone at the same time. I had 3 or 4 windows open that I was going back and forth to making sure I had all the right links and making all the connections. Without even thinking about it I did what the screen told me to do. Okay so I don't do so well multi-tasking with PMS either. I will make a note of that.
I got on a second chat and he didn't help. Trying to hold back the tears I desperately tried finding the chat room again. It was gone, where the heck did I find that thing and why I am giving this so much power? I'm feeling the sore throat and itchy ears coming on, that happens when I get really stressed and then it sometimes turns into a cold. Great this whole thing was about preventing a virus!
So brilliant a little voice reminds me to look in my history. Where is it? I don't see it, no that's not the right one! Then the voice again, look at the time. Ahhh, there it is. I got on and thank you Universe for bringing Ralph back to me. I am now taking his advice and believe it will work. In order to go any further I must close all windows and say adieu.
Although I don't know the outcome of what I am about to do, I do feel more at peace and will say a little pray before I move any further.

The scent of a brother
It's been said that the sense of smell triggers more emotions and vivid memories than any of the senses. The smell of sprouted wheat toast reminds me of a grandmother I had the privilege of visiting only a few times in my childhood. I remember and see her apartment, the toaster, the trips to Disneyland with other family, her stuffed animal collection, the feel of the tiny clovers on my barefoot as we walked a few blocks to the beach. It's funny though how even some smells that we may consider unpleasant at times can drum up even the deepest feelings we have for someone and the desire to have them near.
My daughter was home for Christmas and one of her brother's slept on her pillow. She and he have always been very close. Recently however he has been struggling to find his place in this world. This has been a trying time for our family and especially for her. Well she didn't wash the pillow case before returning to school and she sent me a text declaring how his smell, which most of the time bothers her, made her want to have him there with her. I replied with tears in my eyes as I focused once again on the love my children have for each other and the special connection they have that I will never understand. I pray that every time she smells her pillow that her love for him will send love and light his way which will allow them both have to peace in their journey.

Time wasted or time well spent?
I made one post about time wasting games on Facebook and I found myself getting off 40 minutes later. An unexpected friend came to my house and we spent over and hour visiting with each other; the hour I was going to use to run errands and make another connection prior to my two appointments. The errands were taken care of in the afternoon and I found out from another impromptu connection that everything worked out the way it needed to because one of my planned stops for the am may have found me in the middle of some sort of business confrontation and the police.
It's funny how things work out and keep you where you need to be or from where you don't need to be. All my connections today will have some sort of positive effect in my life and my businesses and most of them were definitely unplanned. I am so glad I remembered to turn my day over to God when I prayed this morning.
In the moment, my daily journey seem more stressful than peaceful until I look back and see the bigger picture.

A yoga lesson
Tonight I was reminded of a pattern I had as a child. If I couldn't do something just right or what I thought was just right the first time, most times I wouldn't or didn't want to do it again. My mom tells a story of me in elementary school in which I begged and begged for a jump rope. I practiced at home however I refused to take it to school. When she asked me why I wouldn't take it to school after I asked for it over and over, my response was something like, "I'm not going to take it to school until I know I can do it".
My mom also used to say that I would accomplish whatever I wanted because I was always so driven. She reminded me recently that I could be so much more than I am now had I made different choices and that I will get there because that drive has not gone away. Thanks mom for always believing in me and reminding me of the power I have within me.
I attended my second yoga class tonight and it seemed so much more difficult then the last one. That inner child voice showed up and kept telling me, "This is too hard, you don't want to do this, I think this will be the last time you need to come". NO GO little one, my body wants this, my body needs this and I will press forward no matter how difficult it seems and how silly I look. This is how we used to do things and now it's time to do it better.
This life is one of progress, growth and learning and when we pay attention all the answers we need to help us overcome our weaknesses will show up in some of the most interesting ways and we will have more peace in the journey.

One of the greatest pleasures in life for me is witnessing the connections siblings have to each other. This evening I had the pleasure of listening to two of my sons having a great time together. David, 22 and Isaac, 14 were in one of the bedrooms playing a video game; there was laughter and lots of excited comments. Later they came out and explained why the game was so great. It was a great mom moment and another way The Universe testifies that I have made a great contribution to the world.
As a mom one of the most important things to me is that my children will be great friends as adults and throughout their lives. Thank you God for helping me take notice of the relationship they are building with one another, this brings peace to my soul and my journey.

Welcome 2012
Well 2012 has arrived and how grateful I am to welcome in the new year; even more so than 2011. For many of us 2010 was a year of struggle and confusion; a year to learn what we do not want. I personally was in a great funk most of the time and when 2011 rolled around I did realize what I did not want and was ready to start asking and acting upon what I do want. I set my goals for 2011 and committed to allowing myself to be guided by Spirit and inspiration. I asked for the people and situations that would lead me to the success and understanding I was asking for. It took some time to make a shift in my mental and emotional state however one day at a time I witnessed my ideas beginning to materialize and thoroughly enjoyed "playing with The Universe" as people and situations were placed in my path to help me succeed and the more I recognized "the coincidences" the more often they would occur. I learned much about myself; weaknesses and strengths and how to use them to become greater. As I begin this new year in a much better place than I was 365 days ago I look forward to all the gifts and blessings that are in store for me as I choose to continue to allow my life to be guided by my Heavenly Father and the inspiration He gives me. May I be able to share this with as many as He sees fit for me to do.
Peace be the journey.
